Never one to be afraid to stand–out, 808's & Heartbreak is unlike any of Kanye's previous albums in that he opted to record every song using Auto–Tune. Kanye described his change in style in a recent interview with MTV News, "If I would have just rapped, it would have sounded like a rap song and it wouldn't have sounded different to people for whatever reason," stated Kanye. "It's a fine line, where you don't know if it's rapping or what it is. It's just what's necessary at the time––what the beat makes me do." 808's & Heartbreak will be released on Dec-1 via Def Jam.
